To my Dearest Readers:
I know, I know…affiliate programs. *eye roll*
When I started this blog I promised myself that I’d always be honest with my readers. I promised to never be a blogger that I avoid. One thing I hate is not getting more than a third past an article without realizing that the whole thing is just a pitch for some affiliate program.
But, my dears, I’ve had to give in. As you know, I have a freelance writing business. It’s not doing that well, however. I’m losing two of my best paying clients. I have to make up that money somehow. But how? I’ve placed ads where I could, but you can’t advertise without putting up $$. I don’t have money to risk. So, I’ve signed up with Amazon and eSellerate (specifically with Literature and Latte, to sell Scrivener.)
Why these two programs? Because I use them, I rely on them, and I believe that they make my life easier. And I believe that they could make your life easier.
What does this mean for you?
This means you’ll have to suffer ads on my website. This means you’ll have me telling you about wonderful products that I believe in and use myself. That’s not too bad, right?
Do I pay extra?
No! I wouldn’t sign up if it meant costing my readers extra. By clicking a link I provide and purchasing through that link, I will earn a small commission. BUT, you do not pay anything extra.
All in all, it’s not that bad. But I still feel the need to explain myself, because like I said, I promised to always be honest with you. I am grateful for your time, and care about you. Each and every one of you. So, if you can put up with my ads, and don’t mind going through my page to get products that will help you with your journey, then I would be all the more grateful.
